"Being the youngest of six kids, my early influences included the likes of Jethro Tull, Emerson Lake & Palmer and The Who. Listening to Radio Luxembourg and of course Caroline also formed the basis of my musical tastes during those all-important formative years. By the age of 11, I had bought my first AC/DC album and was the only girl at school into head banging rock! I frequently had my radio confiscated, having smuggled it into school to ensure I didn't miss anything important!

My CD collection includes both old and new music, plenty of Queen, Floyd, Meatloaf and AC/DC, a bit of the really heavy stuff, through to Linkin Park and The Lost Prophets. Believe it or not, I also love classical, blues and even a smattering of Ibiza-style dance music.

I am now establishing equally refined tastes in my son Miles, who has been subjected to rock music from his days in the womb and is already showing a fine talent for playing the air guitar!"
